Bird 35

This is an enchanting piece, with and adorable little model.

I give a 4 for vision, for several reasons. First, the bird appears posed, which isn't easily done. Second, the background seems deliberate, implying forethought. Third, unless I'm mistaken, it is in black and white, and because that enhances the piece, I applaud it.

I give a 4 for originality, because it is just a picture of a bird. But the angle and the style used make it one of a kind.

I give a 4.5 for technique because of how the animal is placed in the piece, because of how the light works in it, and because of the gray-scale, which adds a dramatic affect.

I give a 5 for impact, because I really love it. The light reflects off of the beak, the feathers, and even the eyes, and it's very dramatic, and very beautiful. The head of the bird is very clear, while the body and background are blurred, also enhancing the piece.

Overall, very beautiful, very nice work.
